“Avion is an interactive virtual reality experience that takes you through the story of a child on their first airplane trip on Christmas Day. This narrative-driven experience takes place in 1967 on a Pan Am-inspired flight. Step back in time as you walk through a terminal in the San Francisco airport and take in the ambience of the art, design, fashion, music and overall vibrance of the era. During your flight, watch a daydream unfold out the window. Take flight, fly a plane and float on the clouds during this immersive 10-15 minute experience.”
Avion is a virtual reality experience currently in post-production. The Avion director wanted music in the vein of “Up” and “La La Land, and this score is the result of that. The score was composed by Jorden Davis and recorded with live musicians; 5 violins, 2 violas, 1 cello, 1 bass, 1 clarinet, and 1 flute – recorded multiple times (‘striped’) and layered on top of each other.
